DEORIA (UP): A four-year-old lady died after being attacked by stray canine close to right here on Saturday, police stated.
The mutilated physique of the lady, who belonged to a nomadic household, was taken into custody by the police and despatched for postmortem, they added.
The incident occurred close to the Amethi Mata Temple right here beneath Kotwali police station limits, SHO Vedprakash Sharma stated.
In keeping with the SHO, one Shankar was dwelling together with his household close to the temple for the final a number of months in a short lived shanty.
On Saturday morning, when Shankar and different members of the family went out to beg or search for work, stray canine attacked his daughter when she was following them, he stated.
