I don't think it was a failure necessary. They used small weapons and a lot of them. In return they caused Israel to use vital defense weaponry and a lot of them in the process. Take a look at Wikipedia and see how few Jews are left in Muslim countries in the Middle East. Most have no more than two or three. All the rest have been forced out. The Islamic countries don't want them in their own countries and don't want them to have their own. Most escaped to Israel. We are now seeing Iran and its proxies in Palestine trying to implement their own final solution, using the provocation of October 7 to make Western countries see Muslims as the victims of a tiny minority who just want their own country where they can live in peace.
