A zoo in Shropshire is celebrating the delivery of two tiny monkeys, no larger than ping pong balls.
Telford’s Unique Zoo shared the information of the thrilling delivery on Friday 29 March.
“We had an incredible Easter shock as our pygmy marmosets had infants,” they wrote on social media, posting the primary footage of the twins.
“They’re the smallest monkey on this planet so you’ll be able to think about how small the infants are – no larger than a human thumb, and weighing about 5-10 grams.”
In response to the zoo, pygmy marmosets are discovered within the Amazon rainforest in Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador and northern Bolivia.
