Air india only sick flaight
In 2023, my flight with Air India Express to Abu Dhabi got delayed by almost 12 hours. Thus I couldn't get the Lufthansa connection flight from Abu Dhabi. The whole flight got paid 3500 dollars, but got only 500 dollars as refund. When we call the airlines, they ask us to contact the booking portal and viceversa. Nowadays, if you lose a connection flight, you lose that flight and all the amount you paid for the ticket. Don't ever book in a indian airline!
All tata group companies have horrible management and bad pay structure. Same in TCS and tata motors.

I will give my own experience last week.. I had booked Air India Express from Bangalore to Bagdogra on scheduled to depart at 27th April morning. The flight departure was at 4:40 am from Bangalore. We had all completed the Web Check-in prior. We reached the airport at 3:15 am and waiting in the queue at the check-in. When we reached the check-in, they saw the size of the check-in bags; Both the bags were normal check-in bags within size limits and the weights were also below 15 kgs. But they gave wizard reason and declined to accept and do the check-in by saying, we were late for check-in. Hence, we could not onboard the flight. They did not allow to onboard a pre-booked flight. The flight was scheduled at 4:40 am. There was around 90 mins. still for the flight departure. We were family of four people. Similar, thing happened to another passenger in front of us.
I think all these employees of Air India Express must be sacked and need to clean the system..
Then we had to book the Akasa Air that was scheduled at 7:30 am. Akasa air is indeed superb in service.
