Ontario Provincial Police are investigating the theft of “a number of thousand” {dollars} price of tropical fish stolen from an Higher Ottawa Valley restaurant final week.
OPP say a break and enter was reported to police at a restaurant within the City of Beachburg within the early morning hours of April 11.
Beachburg is situated about 25 kilometres south of Pembroke and 130 kilometres northwest of downtown Ottawa.
Police say the gadgets stolen included an unspecified amount of money and tropical fish swimming inside an aquarium on the restaurant.
An OPP spokesperson couldn’t present extra particulars on the variety of fish stolen, however mentioned the restaurant reported they had been price hundreds of {dollars}.
The investigation is constant with the help of an OPP Forensic Identification Companies (FIS) officer.
