(ECNS) — China on Thursday introduced countermeasures towards Basic Atomics Aeronautical Methods and Basic Dynamics Land Methods, that are concerned in arms gross sales to China’s Taiwan area.
“The continued U.S. arms gross sales to China’s Taiwan area severely violate the one-China precept and the provisions of the three China-U.S. joint communiqués, intrude in China’s inner affairs, and undermine China’s sovereignty and territorial integrity,” in accordance with a Decree of the Ministry of Overseas Affairs of the Individuals’s Republic of China No.5.
“Pursuant to Articles 3, 4, 5, 6, 9 and 15 of the Regulation of the Individuals’s Republic of China on Countering Overseas Sanctions, China hereby decides to take the next countermeasures towards U.S. corporations that take part in arms gross sales to China’s Taiwan area, together with Basic Atomics Aeronautical Methods and Basic Dynamics Land Methods，” it stated.
Based on the countermeasures, all the businesses’ movable and immovable properties, and other forms of property inside China shall be frozen. And their senior administration shall be denied visas or entry into China.
