Israel's mistake is that they allowed this war to drag on for far too long. It should have been wrapped up in 3months max irrespective of 'civilian' casualty numbers. If it's a 100k civilians then so be it quite unfortunately. When you allow it drag on for this long it's only human nature for sentiments to begin to shift…especially when you give a damn.
