Manila-headquartered World Container Terminal Services and products Inc (ICTSI) has defined its then port construction. The corporate will manufacture an $800m terminal with over 2m teu capability in Bauan, Batangas to the south of Manila at the island of Luzon.
The ability will come with a 900 m quay and a minimum of 8 ship-to-shore gantry cranes. Development will get started within the first quarter of then presen.
“With the first berth scheduled for completion by the end of 2027, the terminal will become a catalyst for economic growth across Southern Luzon, creating jobs and accelerating regional development,” the Enrique Razon-led corporate stated in a disclosure on Monday.
