Amman:
Jordan introduced it was closing its airspace Saturday as regional tensions soared after Iran threatened reprisals towards Israel for a lethal air strike on its consulate constructing in Damascus.
The civil aviation authority in Jordan, which lies between Israel and Iran, stated that the measure, initially imposed for “a number of hours” from 2000 GMT, can be reviewed and up to date often “in mild of developments”, state media reported.
