Matt Damon and Ben Affleck are unforgettable actors. Or even early of their careers, they stood out in a sea of extras, consistent with Kevin Costner.
In an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Are living, Costner recalled his recollections of the younger stars running on Ground of Desires.
“They were sitting in the stands, like college guys, and they came up, and they both leaned in at the same time, leaned back at the same time, looked at each other at the same time as we talked,” he says. “And they had this big enthusiasm. They were on fire. I do remember them, absolutely.”
Jimmy Kimmel next learn a textual content message from Damon, who recalled the month from his viewpoint.
“I remember it well,” the textual content mentioned. “I literally had an Untouchables poster on my wall. He came out and hung around with the extras between setups. I asked him what he was doing, and he said, ‘Shooting the s—’ and I laughed like a 12-year-old girl. It was a big deal for us, because he had the exact career that we wanted. He was very nice to us.”
Costner mentioned his emotional response to the 11-minute status ovation on the premiere of his film Horizon: An American Saga Bankruptcy 1 at Cannes.
“I actually started walking my life backwards for a second,” he says. “I kinda went back to the beginning and wondering, you know, how I even ended up at a place like that. We all have these dreams where we wanna be, and I had my own, and I’ve taken some really big bites out of life, and life has taken some really big ones out of me. But I kind of just keep going, and when they started to clap and they didn’t stop, I didn’t really know what — I didn’t f—ing cry. I didn’t cry. My eyes were full.”
