Labour’s shadow defence secretary has urged Rishi Sunak to set out the federal government’s actions to “pursue the trail of peace” within the Center East.
John Healey made the feedback after Iran launched an “unprecedented” assault on Israel, which it stated was in retaliation in opposition to a strike on an Iranian diplomatic compound in Syria earlier this month.
Israel stated Iran launched 170 drones, greater than 30 cruise missiles and a minimum of 120 ballistic missiles in an assault that set off air raid sirens throughout the nation.
“That is probably the most severe and most harmful second since Hamas launched that unprecedented terror assault on Israel on October 7,” Mr Healey instructed BBC Breakfast on Monday 15 April.
