3 ladies were hospitalised following an alleged assault in Dundalk, Co Louth, on Friday afternoon.
One of the most ladies, understood to be aged, has “serious injuries”.
In a remark, gardaí stated they had been alerted to an incident at a residential trait in Glenwood Property, Dundalk, on Friday afternoon.
The 3 ladies had been injured. Two had been got rid of to Louth County Health center, Dundalk, for remedy and one lady used to be taken to Our Girl of Lourdes Health center, Drogheda, with critical accidents.
It’s understood the assault concerned a hatchet.
A person used to be arrested on the scene and is recently being detained at a Garda station in Co Louth below division 4 of the Prison Justice Occupation, 1984.
A Garda spokesman stated investigations had been ongoing.
