A person has died following a collision involving a bike in Co Cork on Sunday.
Gardaí and emergency providers attended the scene of the only automobile collision at about 6.45pm on the R579 at Glen South, Banteer, Co Cork.
The motive force of the motorbike, a male aged in his 60s, was fatally injured following the collision.
His physique has since been faraway from the scene to Cork College Hospital the place a autopsy will happen in the end.
The R579 street (from Banteer to Nad) stays closed this morning.
Garda Forensic Collision Investigators are scheduled to hold out an examination of the scene.
