A senior Myanmar army official has not been seen in public for weeks following a drone assault, resulting in hypothesis he may need been wounded, in accordance with a political analyst.
Junta vice chairman Soe Win, who’s a deputy senior basic and commonly attended conferences with the army chief, Senior Gen. Min Aung Hlaing, was not seen in junta media protection of a army council assembly on agriculture and pure disasters on Monday.
Junta media, which commonly cowl such conferences, displaying the high-ranking officers in attendance, has not proven photos of Soe Win, or reported his attendance at any conferences for the reason that drone assault within the second week of April.
He was final seen publicly attending a military commencement ceremony within the metropolis of Ba Htoo in Shan State on April 3, in accordance with a junta press launch.
An anti-junta guerilla group mentioned it had attacked the Southeast Regional Navy Command headquarters in Mon State on April 8.
