Parramatta has terminated the promise of longstanding trainer Brad Arthur later a woeful run of effects.
Arthur, whose closing sport used to be a 48-16 Spell Spherical hammering by the hands of Melbourne on Sunday, used to be relieved of his tasks on Monday.
The 49-year-old were Eels trainer since 2014.
Age he took the membership to the 2022 lavish ultimate, he did not win a premiership in a decade on the helm.
“It was the view of the board and CEO that the progress of our NRL team has stalled,” the Eels mentioned in a observation.
“Our goal is to win premierships and it is time for the club to go in a new direction.”
The observation added:Â “We want to thank Brad who has worked tirelessly for the Club over a ten year period. During his time as Head Coach, the club has played in five finals series, including a grand final in 2022.
“We would like Brad and his community the easiest going forward and we’re very thankful for his products and services to the membership.”
It also said Trent Barrett would be filling in as interim head coach for the remainder of the 2024 NRL season.
“We can handover an extra replace as we walk ahead to nominate a head trainer for the 2025 season and past,” the membership mentioned.
