As Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched into the roadshow, tons of of BJP supporters lined either side of the street, showering him with flowers. The PM, wearing a conventional Tamil apparel of Veshti and silk shirt, greeted the gang with enthusiasm. He additionally confirmed ‘Lotus’ image of BJP as he proceeded alongside the route.
