Seun, in a situation like this that deserves analysis of a policy affecting Nigerians, you need to have as your guest unbiased experts that are not considered to be on any of the opposition party. Whenever a guest condemns the action of the Government without thinking it amounts hopeless and biased criticism. I have listened to experts provided analysis as to the reason for the Tariff increase and approach, it has a lot of positive impact in the long run. Nigeria has not reached the level in power supply where there enough or more than enough for every household in the country. Therefore, those trying to condemn the action taken by the government either they are ignorant of what has been the problem of electricity in the country or they are just trying to please their political base. The media is not doing the public any good when they invite politicians to discuss issues like power supply as opposed to inviting guest who are capable of educating the masses on policies affecting the power supply. Experts debate will make more sense than biased individuals that want to be seen as opposing the government. Nigerians must understand that there are certain problems that require hard solutions that might not be palatable to the citizens. There has been a lot of problems with power supply amongst other problems in Nigeria which have led to companies moving out of Nigeria and the ordinary citizen only hears that companies move out with knowing why? Most administration in the past try to cover up problems in the country and the citizens are so used to the status quo that any deviation from the past is considered to be punishment. No nation progresses that way.

The Federal Gov needs to down size and decentralise itself instead of passing its over bloated expenditures on the masses.
