China is wooing Tesla for its FSD technology. Once they have that they will change. Simple as that.

It would be in the best interest of Tesla to go with its next generation of EV batteries which will not rely on China supplying raw materials for the current batteries being used and this should be done when Tesla moves 100% of its operation to India, because the Indian people Are very smart intelligent and extremely hard-working and India is extremely well liked all over the world, especially in the United States of America, Indian women are beautiful and smart and hard-working just as hard-working as the men and the younger generation is very well educated and yes, you may be a little bit underdeveloped And we have to look at China many years ago there people used to get around with thousands upon thousands of bicycles. They were under developed as well. India can benefit with the help of Tesla and India can build its roadways and modernize them to bring India into the 21st century and beyond.

There is no charging station network in India. There is no EV car market in India. There is limited logistics and manufacturing ecosystem in India. The so-called talk is just for Modi to boost his own political standing. It has no meaning to Tesla. So no talk.
Palki mixed up two things here. Global Times wanted TESLA to manufacture it's cars in China not in India. But Palki was talking about the car market in India. Of course Tesla wants to sell to as many countries as possible.

Chinese EV cars and batteries are DOMINATING the world. They don't need Elon. They would like to have competition so to keep Chinese level headed. That is the relationship between China and Elon. It is NEVER about waiting for a White Master to save you, Indians! It is NEVER about gestures and going-through-motions. When Chinese are set to do something, NOTHING is in their way. Sure we can invite Tesla now to access the technology. But in the long run we should develop our own technology and industry to such a level that big MNCs would beg to set up shop here. For that we have to set our house in order by reducing corruption, increasing the quality of our education, changing our labour- owner laws in such a way that the management does not exploit the workers(as they do in China) and at the same time the employees/workers do not resort to arm twisting and blackmailing tactics. Another important factor is we have to change our people's mindset and make them more quality conscious.
