In Tayarisha Poe’s “The Young Wife,” a marriage celebration performs out like a psychedelic fever dream. The digital camera keens and swoops, birdlike, across the visitors — who’re decked out in neon vision silhoutte and dazzling pastel-colored outfits — and a synth-heavy ranking lends the entire affair a touch of the uncanny.
