Dear BBC your definition of "impartiality" needs reviewing because it seems your version includes dissembling. On the basis of your own photographic evidence – who perpetrated the violence? Perhaps you should start up a team to check the facts. Perhaps call it "BBC verify".
I like how they tried to frame it as "violence on both sides" and then Dylan Winward comes in and just says what's going on, clearly communicating that the violence comes from the counter protesters and they are just like "… Interesting".

Did Hamas start this? I believe not, because since 1948, Israel has been trying to clear the Palestinians from the area by occupying their land. But why? Is this the fault of the Jews? Of course not. The Europeans, specifically the Germans, committed genocide against the Jews, creating an unsafe environment for them in Europe. This led to the idea of Zionism, which claimed that Jews had a right to have a country. This idea could be seen as justified, given that Jews suffered centuries of persecution, torture, and genocides. There is arguably no group more capable of understanding the impact of genocide and torture. However, some extreme governments seem to forget this lesson. They capture Palestinian land and homes, and continue to kill Palestinians not just in Gaza but elsewhere. European politicians, especially those in Germany, might support Zionism due to their historical responsibility, but they should not support the mass killing of Palestinians.
I believe that 90% of Israeli people are peaceful and can coexist with people of all religions. This issue is not about religion but rather about the ambitions of certain politicians who aim to create a country from the river to the sea. We need peace and we need day zero to start the game again as this game didnt go well for anyone.
