BJP is not really fighting 2024 election in Tamil Nadu. To all the Modi supporters – Please comment about the electoral bond scam. It is in the public domain. The opposition need not point it out. Corrupt opposition leaders with CBI and ED cases, the cases disappear once they join the BJP or its alliance. The PM CARE FUND is not part of the RTI. Where is the money going? The scams of the Congress were public because of CAG and RTI being free and independent. Under Modi, name one transparent law. The CAG reports to Modi and adverse reports are blocked by the mainstream media. RTI has been diluted. Whatever corruption the Congress did in 70 years, Modi has surpassed in 10 years.
And foolish Modi supporters give Modi the credit for india becoming the 5th largest economy. In 2012, India was expected to overtake Britain, by 2017. Only Narasimha Rao/MMS for their economic reforms of 1991 and the good work by Vajpayee/Jaswant Singh from 1999 to 2004 deserve credit. As a resident of Telangana, I staunchly oppose the concept of a Dravidian State or Dravidian Model. Why? History vividly illustrates the plight of Telugu-speaking individuals within the Madras Presidency. The Dravidian Model predominantly serves the interests of Tamil speakers.
Tamil pride and Dravidian parties has made the state grow and stay competitive. This State has given equitable space and respect for all religions. However There is a section of upper middle vegetarian class that is batting heavy for BJP to regain their long eroded political power in TN.
