I would look to China as the prime example. They allow almost no foreign apps inside their country (for their own citizens). The fact they are mad about even talking about the US banning tic tox and said they would prevent it's sale is too rich.
X, Google, YouTube, Facebook, WhatsApp, Snapchat, Instagram, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Spotify, Dropbox, Skype, Reddi, Quora, Dailymotion, Vimeo, Hulu, Tumblr and1000+ more apps and sites are all banned in China , even Wikipedia is banned in there.
