So here's a story. A while back a bunch of countries put forward the Rome Statute and asked all the other countries to join them in forming an International Criminal Court. Some countries joined, others didn't. Among the ones who didn't where most of the nations with the largest populations. India, China, Russia, the USA, Indonesia, and Pakistan, as well as several others. Currently, over half the worlds population are in nations that don't recognize the ICC. The ICC then decided they had authority over all nations of the world anyway, even though many nations never signed that treaty, and no one in the ICC had been elected by or where responsible to The People. Not even The People of the countries that actually joined them. So now they are telling Israel, which never accepted the treaty, that they can't threaten the ICC because that goes against the treaty. Meanwhile, Israel's threats all hinge on the ICC trying to force their authority on a nation that doesn't accept it. The only way to force a nation to abide by a treaty it didn't sign is through war. Power is required for authority to exist, and the ICC doesn't have the power to invade a Walmart or arrest a hobo. They rely on their member countries for that. If police or military from any of those countries arrests an Israeli official on behalf of the ICC, it's an act of war. The USA also rejects ICC authority (none of us voted for any of them, so they have no authority here), and we already have a law in place that essentially declares war on the ICC the second they arrest an American official or military member. I really doubt the ICC has the balls to issue arrest warrants against Israeli officials. Expect the ICC to talk tough but do nothing. If I'm wrong about that, don't expect any arrests to actually be made, since the country that does it knows they would royally piss off both the USA and Israel. If I'm wrong about THAT, you can be SURE the Hauge will get a memorable visit from the Metzada and the ICC will get MASSIVE restrictions and sanctions from the USA.

The US Government and Israel must be so ashamed. Technically they have no power or authority to speak anything related to the ICC because they are signatories and refused to ratify. To issue threats o against this independent international court is telling the whole world that they have no regard about international Law, and they can do anything with Impunity. Any country that conducts itself in such careless, reckless manner should not receive respect from anyone, not be allowed to influence policy or decisions, and must be removed or banned from the United Nations. There are no 2 ways about this.
